Foxx Life Sciences EZwaste Solvent Waste System is designed to be an affordable solution for HPLC liquid waste disposal. Each system is manufactured to safely collect waste from two HPLC machines. This system features an activated carbon filter, which traps volatile organic compounds from being released into the air. This prevents chemicals from being inhaled by lab workers, and provides an easy mechanism of disposal for vapor wastes. The EZwaste Solvent Waste system also features a closed-loop design, which protects against leaks and spills, improving overall lab safety. Each EZwaste Solvent Waste System comes with one 83mm or 120mm open VersaCap, fittings, plugs for unused ports, a replaceable sulfur-cured EPDM gasket, a chemical exhaust filter, and a chemically resilient container. *Depending on application, carbon exhaust filter life cycle may vary.

A solid PTFE body keeps the OPTI-SOLV™ filter at the base of the bottle where a bottom-mounted titanium frit provides unrestricted solvent access. As always, Optimize makes installation as simple as possible - no tools or fittings required and includes 5 feet of pre-installed PTFE tubing. OPTI-SOLV™ Reservoir Filters employ a unique conical design inside the filter housing to prevent air bubbles from getting trapped and disturbing your analysis. While the availability of HPLC-grade solvents diminishes the need for pre-filtering, it is still imperative that a filtration device be installed in the reservoir. Placing a filter in the reservoir is an economical way to filter particles that may result from buffer salt precipitation, airborne dust, improperly cleaned glassware, or microbial contamination; none of which are remedied by the use of HPLC-grade solvents.
